Cylindrical rolling bearings are rolling bearings that use cylindrical rollers as rolling elements. The wheels make a linear relationship with the race tracks, providing very high radial load capacity and high speed performance. However, they can only withstand low axial loads (or handle the same axial loads with the help of rib designs).
They are classified by shape type, this includes single-row cylindrical bearings, double-row cylindrical bearings, and full cylindrical bearings. Cylindrical bearing materials include rolling steel, ceramic bearings, stainless steel and high temperature steel. Cases are usually made of stamped steel, hardened steel, or resin. Specific grades range from P0, P6, to P5.
