KOMEL is a type of external ball ceramic hybrid ball bearing used to produce two ceramic and steel bearing surfaces.



Rolling Elements: They are usually made of ceramic materials. Common ceramic materials include silicon nitride (Si₃N₄), silicon carbide (SiC), etc. These ceramic rolling elements have remarkable characteristics such as high hardness, low density, strong wear resistance, good chemical stability, and high temperature resistance. Compared with traditional steel rolling elements, ceramic rolling elements are lighter in weight and have a smaller moment of inertia. During high-speed operation, they can effectively reduce the centrifugal force and frictional heat generation, thereby improving the operational stability and service life of the bearings.


The inner and outer rings are generally made of bearing steel. Material Suffix

H: It indicates ceramic balls. For example, 6205 - H represents a deep groove ball bearing of model 6205 with ceramic balls as the rolling elements.

T: It may indicate a cage made of ceramic materials. If it is the combined suffix "HT", it means the bearing has both ceramic balls and a ceramic cage.

Tolerance Grade Suffix

P4: It indicates that the bearing's tolerance grade complies with the ISO 4 - level standard. It belongs to a high - precision grade and is usually used in equipment with high - precision requirements, such as the spindles of precision machine tools.

P5: The tolerance grade complies with the ISO 5 - level standard. Its precision is slightly lower than that of P4, and it is also widely used in some industrial equipment with certain precision requirements.

Clearance Suffix
